The role of a speaker isn’t just delivering information to the audience, the speaker can often set the tone for the entire event. Numerous studies have shown that injecting a little fun, even some tasteful humor, can make learning stick. Laughing swaps the cortisol with highly sought out chemicals in the brain: dopamine, oxytocin, and endorphins. Dopamine can enhance learning, motivation, and attention. I take pride in engaging with the audience in a meaningful way to ensure they have a few takeaways they can put into action after the event, which can only happen if the learning sticks.
The general purpose of coaching is to enhance and refine your skills, knowledge and abilities. The goal is to help you achieve your defined goal. And if you aren’t quite sure what you are aiming for, coaching can help you crystalize it. Coaching requires an active, collaborative approach where the coach plays the role of the facilitator of change and the client enacts change by implementing the actions and trying something new that has been agreed to in between each session.
As a skilled facilitator and leadership program designer, I have a plethora of workshops available to you. They range from 90-minute sessions to multi-day engagements, on topics such as Emotional Intelligence, Difficult Conversations, Resilience, to even Facilitation Skills. I have delivered workshops to teams as small as five people to main stage workshops supporting over 750 people in a conference setting.
Using my years of experience in business operations and talent and learning, I am available to offer guidance on a variety of topics. I have led RFPs for learning management systems (LMS/LXP), to learning content libraries, to point-of-sale (POS).
